A quick note on charging: please use only the provided cable. Other cables, like phone chargers, may not provide the correct 5V/1A input and can prevent the battery from charging. If you hear a constant beep from the remote, that’s your low battery warning! A low charge can lead to common issues like a lost signal or weaker motors, so always check your power levels first.
For a stable flight, always calibrate on a level surface before takeoff. It’s simple: push both control sticks down and out to the corners (↙ and ↘) and hold for two seconds. This quick routine makes all the difference.
To connect your phone for live video: first, ensure the remote is off. Power on the drone, connect your phone to its WiFi network, and open the app to get the video feed. Only then should you turn on the remote control.
Before your first flight, please read the manual and find a wide-open space with no wind. We recommend keeping your altitude under 30 feet and your distance under 100 feet while you’re learning. Since the K16 is a beginner drone, it does not have GPS or auto-return. Always keep an eye on your signal strength and stay within its 328-foot range.
