Several months ago I purchased a Wimius projector for my home theater. I’ve been extremely impressed with that product, so when I found myself in the market for a portable projector that I could use outdoors, or while traveling I was very excited to see that Wimius had just released such a unit. I’ve been testing the “Wimius Mini Projector with 5GWiFi and Bluetooth, WIMIUS 1080P Outdoor Projector, Portable Movie Projector” for the last several days, and I must say I’m very impressed. The projector came with everything needed to get started including cables and an easy-to-use remote control, along with a very detailed user manual (see picture which includes package contents). Within a few minutes, I was able to connect the projector and have it up and running. It was easy to connect the projector to my home WiFi, and it also had an HDMI and USB port I was able to connect my Amazon Firestick too (see pictures). It also had a very easy interface in which I was able to mirror the image on my iPhone through the projector using the Bluetooth capability.
Once I had everything connected I gave the projector a thorough test. Here is what impressed me about the projector:
1) Very quick and easy to set up. Was able to have it up and running within a few minutes without needing to crack open the instruction manual
2) Projected powers on very quickly, and full picture display is available within a few seconds of powering up
3) Easy to connect devices through HDMI, USB, or in the case of my iPhone, through the mirror function
4) Menu interface was easy to find my way around
5) Amazing clear HD picture which displays well even in lighted rooms
6) Adequate built-in speaker, but sound really blasted nicely once I connected to my Bluetooth speaker (in the sample video I played the sound through the built-in speaker just to give you an idea of sound. I had the sound at 50% level)
7) Was easy to connect the projector to my ceiling mount, and rotate the picture for upside-down use; although I only did this to test the ability. I want to keep the projector available for mobile use, rather than mounted use.
A few things to be aware of:
1) The unit does not have keystone adjustments, so the unit must be high enough (or low enough) to sit flat and project onto the screen. Was not an issue for my use, but wanted to point it out.
2) The remote does not come with batteries, so you’ll need to triple A (AAA) batteries to operate
3) Don’t lose the remote. The remote is necessary to operate the projector
Overall, I was very impressed with the projector; hence my 5-star rating. This is now the second Wimius projector I own, and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them to my friends and family.

As a repeat customer of WIMIUS projectors, I was excited to see they released a strong portable version as a counterpart to my non-portable model. This particular projector is quite compact and the size makes it very useful for taking on the road weighing just 2 pounds while measuring just 4 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 6 inches high. Attached is a picture of what was in the box including an HDMI cable, RCA adapter, and cleaning cloth along with the standard remote and power cord. The included remote control requires 2 AAA batteries which were not provided. The machine was not overly noisy and didn’t get too hot either.
The picture quality on this unit is outstanding, I have attached some video and pictures for reference using a blank white wall as the screen area with an approximate screen size of 100 inches. The picture is sharp and crisp and HD videos still look HD quality. I used the “Dynamic” picture mode for these example images. The brightness is strong even with some light in the room, however, I would still recommend a somewhat dark room for optimal performance. The electronic focus is much more convenient than the manual focus on most projectors, however, it can take a couple of tries back and forth to really hit an ideal focus level. The only lacking feature is keystone correction which means this projector should remain flat on a surface or the picture will become distorted. However, they included a hole on the bottom threaded for a tripod mount, or you can simply just put it on something more elevated if you need it higher up.
The audio quality is also amazing using the “Movie” mode and comes out very crisp with a solid bit of bass to it. The attached video should help demonstrate some of this sound quality. The sound is also at a volume level strong enough that it can be heard from a pretty good distance away.
Overall, this projector is a solid option for those looking for something small and lightweight to take on the road while still having a strong feature set at a reasonable price. With excellent picture and sound quality this projector makes a case for being one of the best values around.

The P61-US from WIMIUS is a great small-sized projector that is easy to set and use especially if you have set up other devices before. I used it on my roof in the city. I cannot get total darkness, yet this projector provided a sharp vibrant image on my 100-inch screen. It has a mount to screw into a tripod, which is how I use it. It easily connected to my Roku by selecting the HDMI connection. The Bluetooth speaker was set up like any other device. However, I would not recommend using Bluetooth connection for speakers because there is always a lag no matter what projector you use. A wired connection using the earphone jack is the way to go. The built-in speaker is adequate if you are close by.
The instructions could be clearer as is the case with most Chinese-made products. It is set up like every other device so that experience will get you through setting this up with no problem. A case for this projector would also be very useful. My other WIMIUS projector has one that helps a lot and makes the product more attractive. The built-in handle is useful, but a protective case would be better. I transport it in its original box.
I recommend this product for its portability, quality, and ease of use at this price point.

L’ho appena acquistato e devo dire che sono soddisfatto. E’ piccolo, comodo da trasportare (grazie anche all’elegante maniglia) e funziona bene.
Lo uso in salotto, collegato ad una pennetta fire stick di amazon per vedere i film “effetto cinema”. Considerate le ridotte dimensioni è facile usarlo ovunque e quindi è anche di pratico utilizzo poichè non necessita di uno schermo (basta una parete libera, possibilmente bianca). L’audio è buono e la ventola di raffreddamento è sufficientemente silenziosa da non creare disturbo. Per quanto riguarda la qualità dell’immagine, al buio, è del tutto soddisfacente. Unico piccolo neo che ho rilevato è che per ridurre o ingrandire l’immagine proiettata sulla parete bisogna fisicamente avvicinare o allontanare il proiettore.
Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è assolutamente ottimo. Lo consiglio a chi a chi cerca un buon prodotto da usare nel quotidiano e nelle situazioni conviviali.

I was in search of a small projector for my spare room, aiming to find a product that offered decent video quality without breaking the bank. After extensive browsing, I finally stumbled upon this gem. I already own a few projectors from Wimius, known for delivering quality products within a budget-friendly range, which gave me confidence in this mini projector.
Upon receiving it, I was immediately impressed by the product’s build quality, the packaging, and, of course, the projector itself. While I had set my expectations conservatively due to its small size, in reality, it turned out even smaller than I had anticipated.

To my pleasant surprise, this projector delivered exceptional picture quality, exceeding the value for which I paid. The menu options are straightforward and easy to configure. The clarity and sharpness are truly remarkable, making it ideal for my needs. I purchased this projector for ceiling-mounted movie watching, and it excels in that regard. I’ve tested both HDMI and Mirror casting, and in both cases, I enjoyed amazing video quality.
