It does not display as bright of colors as I thought, I would say it loses a 30% of the video’s original color (tested with both phone and laptop) and the quality is barely bearable. I say the biggest annoyance is the color loss and yes i played around in settings and maxed out the color/contrast as much as possible.
I had to buy my own USB-C adapter to HDMI, which sucked. Additionally when you plug in your phone via adapter, its kind of hard to navigate, its not a copy of your phone screen but for me, it was Samsung DEX which was some app that lets you project. you cant see the screen on your phone, its just a touchpad that’s black. Also you can’t charge your phone while youre connected obviously – so it drains the battery pretty fast. Sound quality was fine, nothing to complain about but nothing to praise.
I would say this is good for its price, and if you dont mind using a laptop to connect. You are going to drain your phone battery out before your movie ends if you use it. If you can shill out another 100, definitely go for a better projector, Im probably gonna return this.
