This camera is pretty awesome for the price. I use it as a dash cam on my motorcycle because of its low profile, adjustable lense and ease of mounting to the dash of my fairing. I keep it connected and it turns on each time I start the bike, so it’scharging continuously. However, if used as a dash cam you must turn on recording manually each time you power the camera up. Also, it is not water proof, and as far as I can tell, not water resistant. That said, don’t forget to either cover it or remove it during wet rides. I would recommend for bikers, but, like I said, don’t forget to hit “record” when you fire it up. Mick
