Quality upgrade to non Car Play cars and front Camera

I was planning to upgrade my 2016 Rogue with bigger screen, CarPlay and front Camera option. Have tried two in past and had to return as they were no good. A friend of mine suggested this product and it has so worked very well. Set up was a breeze, build quality good, screen very responsive, able to use Car Play and works every time. The screen size is good and very clear. The resolution of front camera is awesome too. The user interface is simple and in line with industry standard. The inbuilt speakers are loud and clear, the call quality was very good, I’m not using Aux Cable at the moment however if anything I would have asked further in this product is to have a Bluetooth out to stream sound thru Car audio instead of cable. Not biggie, works for me well and Very happy!

As someone with an older car (23 years old!) and a small IPhone S this Lamtto CarPlay is a godsend. I bought it specifically for the GPS feature which I need on my travels. It has become increasingly difficult for me to safely use the small screen on my phone for navigation and I envied the large displays I would see in the new cars. This is the ideal solution. I am also not a tech savvy person so I worried about installing this but my worries were unfounded. It was truly simple to attach this unit to my dash, plug it into my lighter, turn on the car and go. The unit has a touchscreen which I love and the size is ideal for me to read the map without having to squint at a tiny phone screen. It does not interfere visually in any way. I like the front camera feature which I’ve tried to show in my pictures. I am not a music person but many other reviewers can attest to the ease of connecting their music streaming right to this device. And if you are struggling with the included instruction manual there are helpful YouTube videos out there to watch. I try not to use my phone when driving but taking calls hands free through this should be safe and convenient if necessary. Lots of other features I have yet to thoroughly investigate but for my initial purpose – a nice, clear large screen GPS – this is the ideal solution! The unit itself seems very substantial and high quality and I look forward to having it on my travels! Highly recommend!

I installed this on a 2016 car which is a game changer. I only use iPhones, but the apple carplay is amazing. One time setup is needed and everything else works. I had issues getting audio to properly sync and work properly on my car, but that was also another one time setup and audio works flawlessly. There’s a built in dashcam which had a height and angle adjuster. Works perfect and captures up to 2.5k. Overall, this was bang for buck with all the features that it offers. Lots of mounts, cables type, adapter, and clips to help organize this.

The size of the screen is just right. I like the rectangular shape which fits well with my car’s dashboard and is not obtrusive. Its fully compatible with connecting to my phone and I didnt have any loss of signal or dropped connection. Set up to phone and to car’s bluetooth was very straight forward too. Touch screen is sensitive without needing to press too hard. The front facing camera is 4k quality and captures my entire windhsield view. I plan to have it record all my driving, as you never you when you may need that recording. The arm stand is pretty sturdy and no issues with the screen falling or bouncing too much while driving. The power adapter also has a USB slot to charge my phone as well which is nice on long drives.

We had an older portable car play and it didn’t hook up easily. This one easily connects. The large longer screen makes it easier to see the screen while something else is up. This one also comes with a camera the old one did not. Camera is good quality. The speaker is loud or you can hook it to the car stereo speakers.
