What Is the Difference Between Vector Art and Raster Art?

Vector Art

Vector art is composed of mathematically defined geometric shapes that are typically generated using advanced mathematics.  Vector art is comprised of lines, objects and fills.  The defined shapes are constructed using geometric primitives that are equally divided between each other to make equal shapes.  Vector art entails both magnitude and direction.

Vector work is generally attributed to one of three art schools:




Vector graphics,

These schools of art were established a century ago and the majority of the art’s artists are from these schools.  The primary goal of these schools is to develop rapport and shared understanding between the artist and his culture.

Raster Art

Raster art is composed of a dot-matrix printer that produces an image of an image.  Raster art is typically saved as JPEG files.  In the early days of computers, a dot-matrix printer was created by John detail.  A dot-matrix printer creates an image by dots.  Each point in the image is made from the intersection of a row of dots, and each line is made from the intersection of another row of dots.

Sony A11 digital camera files (.tif files) store the data for an image.  The data for the left and right eye to be a smooth transition between the images.  Once downloaded, the files can be opened in Photoshop or other software and edited to create other images.

Raster art is used across various industries such as computer and video games, advertising, cartoons and many other media.  Computer games are the most popular application for raster art, and they have been influential in popularizing the use of this form of art.  Computer programmers are known to change the type from time to time to keep up with their creative interest.

Although the forms of art used in computing are primarily Graphics, there are many other forms that are used for supporting the information within them.  Examples of these other forms are architecture, URE, typography and mapping.

Since the inception of the modern computer age, programmers have developed applications that allow the bubularity of data be moved along a finger across the computer monitor, for both Personal and Shared use.  This is made possible by the use of bitmap and bitmap print technologies.  Ink from the projector reflects directly onto the paper creating the image, which is then digitized using the digitizer(s).

The digitizer is a term used to translate the image in Imaging or Digital Signage, into an electronic format.  An Imaging application may include a master display controller, as well as the lenses and film.  The lensettes, which are usually made of optical glass, are used to focus light to the receptacles of the viewer.  A film, which is also known as a microchip, is used to contain light to media that the computer can use to create the image.

Can be read by anyone with basic reading skills

Can be presented in simple lay out format so they are easier to be consumed

Can be played by anyone without a lot of special knowledge

Can be edited by anyone, may be in special graphical or filtering form.

The basic components of a simple PC are: case, power supply, processor, RAM, software, and hard drive. Other components include the keyboard, speakers, modem, fire wire port, media playing devices, and so on. These components may be accessories, such as a printer, but they essentially replace the computer case. The case, besides other hardware accessories, may need to be replaced when things in it stop working.

The software part of a computer is just like any other piece of software.  It needs to be able to get on the hardware bus and communicate with the other parts of the computer.  The other peripheral components of the computer are the keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, hard drive, and USB ports.
