I like that the solar charger is simple in design and very rugged. The instructions were also very simple to understand. I have used the solar charger to charge both my phone and iPod multiple times. The charging time is relatively quick with 75% of spare charge left over each time. It would be wise to get familiar the safety operating temperatures recommended by the manufacturer so as not to create a fire hazard and damage the unit. So far, so good.

i have several versions of these solar type batteries. these are the lightest ones by far, and have one of the highest charging capacity for the weight. i highly recommend them for carrying in a work bag, purse or emergency go-pack. i havent tried actually using the solar panel to charge, i typically charge my batteries via wall outlet, however they take the charge nicely and run pretty much everything i plug into them.

I have a 15000 mah capacity battery pack that will last twice as long as this so called 38000 mah charger. Also the solar charger won’t even charge the pack back up without anything connected. It flashes the green light in the sun buy its not applying much power.
